Ealing Collision Victim who Died of her Injuries Named as Ex Met Officer

The cyclist suffered "serious injuries" after a collision in west Ealing

A former Metropolitan Police officer who suffered fatal injuries in a west Ealing collision was part of their “police family”, a spokesman for the force said.
The victim, named by police as 51-year-old Claudia Manera, died on Thursday (October 19) after her bicycle collided with a lorry in Uxbridge Road the previous week.
The personal trainer, who stopped working for the Metropolitan Policelast year, was set to return to the force this week as a special constable.
In a heartfelt tribute, Superintendent Robert Mahoney said that the Italian national always went above and beyond to help others.

A helicopter landed on Thursday (October 12) and rushed the cyclist to hospital

Ms Manera was airlifted to an east London hospital but died of her injuries on Thursday (October 19) evening, a police spokesman confirmed.
The Italian national took dual nationality in 2015 and had run the marathon four times, according to the Evening Standard .
A colleague who worked with Ms Manera during her career as a personal trainer described her as a “loving, gentle lady”.
Katherine Beesley, of west Ealing, said: “Everyone was just so fond of Claudia and her passion for running and fitness.
“She was such a loving, gentle and kind lady - it's such a devastating loss for the community, she was an absolutely lovely girl."

Claudia Manera, seventh from the right in a white shirt, died on Thursday (October 19)

She added: “It was only a couple of years ago she qualified and came into the fitness side of things, she loved it and was so passionate about it.
“She actually said to one of the members the other day she was the happiest she has ever been in her life, which is kind of bittersweet.”

If a Picture is worth a thousand words then Video is Priceless...

There is a famous saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. If you are in the business of trying to increase your followers or win more clients you may not realise what an impact Video can have on your business.

Visual marketing is an integral part of any Digital Marketer’s marketing arsenal. The reason being is because of its effectiveness. Whilst images help dramatically, it’s thought that video can have a significant boost in interaction, action and usability.

Consider the Entertainment industry. Here actors rely on a decent showreel to allow casting directors to see what they look like and showcase their performance skills in action. Have a look at the Showreel below for Welsh Actress Ruthie Gwilym Thomas.

It's clear what you will get if you cast her in one of your films. So ask yourself, Is it clear what my customers will get if they buy my product and how can I make it more so?

If you’re not yet harnessing the power of video marketing some of these stats might  persuade you.

·         .  Videos provide a 74% increase in visitors’ understanding of a product  ·       45.5% of Internet users view at least one video over the course of a month.
·       An average user spends 16 minutes and 49 seconds watching online video ads every month·       80% of users remember the videos they watch online

A great showreel is essential if you are an actor. In the same way a great explainer video or documentary about your company or product builds trust and ensures that your customers are seeing you in action for themselves and knowing for certain what they can expect.

Mo performs 'Iron Sky': The Final | The Voice UK 2017

He was charismatic, authentic and had a genuine heartfelt story throughout the competition. But whatever happened to the Voice's Mo? His hastily released EP seemed to die without a trace and there is no sign of an album to date.

In addition, when The Voice famously went from BBC to ITV we expected to see more support for the artists and more chart success to boot. This hasn't happened and yet again we see more amazing talent go to waste. When will this end? Or is it already over? With the X Factor Live Shows on the horizon and shows of it's it's ilk struggling to match the ratings of heavy hitters like Saturday night juggernaut Strictly Come Dancing I'm thinking that maybe the end is not that far off...
